Application
The Electronic Resolver ERV 801 is used for coordinate transformation in analog computing facilities and for integration into other plug-in-unit-based systems.
By pressing a key, the unit can be set without additional Gabelstecker (patching) to one of the following operating modes: polar-to-Cartesian coordinate transformation, Cartesian-to-polar coordinate transformation, or multiplication. In each case the internal wiring ensures the correct interconnection between the computing elements.
When used as a field resolver, the ERV 801 can also be employed as an electronic direct-axis / quadrature-axis resolver after appropriate patching.
Outstanding Features
- Modular plug-in construction: All computing elements are accommodated on standard plug-in cards that can be exchanged individually.
- High bandwidth: Achieved through the use of wideband Hall-effect multipliers.
- Simple operation: The operating mode is selected by pressing one of the front-panel keys; no additional patch leads are required.
